Horrible beds!
No kettle!
Worst cottage I even stayed in in over 30 years.
Only 2 outdoor chairs to sit on covered porch and no parasol on picnic table.
Fridge/freezer door on wrong side (now that is lazy!)
Poor wifi connection.
No instructions in cottage about anything.
Poor lighting in living area.
Can only sit 2 in Living room love seat.
No hood fan in kitchen.
Damaged screen letting bugs in.
BBQ requires briquets (not informed) and no lighter to ignite it.
No towel bar in bathroom.
It’s fine to hang beach towels outside but bath towels?
Seriously, a few hooks maybe?
Not 1 hook to hang anything in the entire place.
Gloomy 2nd bedroom.
2 men (back neighbours) trespassing & urinating against back of cottage at 1h15AM.
Owner response was that it’s rented but it did not appear a rental place as there was a garage (door open) and the men appeared at home. Owner did not say he would look into issue or report to anyone.
RV owners at site telling me the place is poorly managed. Reno garbage left in piles, and concerns mostly dismissed.
Absolutely not worth $1,000/week.
Good beach is the only reason I can put a 1 star for this rental.
