New property, located in the municipality of Lamarche, 45 minutes from Saguenay and 35 minutes from the town of Alma, this chalet is located at the foot of the Monts Valin in a natural fjord. Enjoy a vast, intimate, wooded and mountainous lot, with no neighbors nearby. On site, you will have a breathtaking view of Lake Tchitogama as well as access to a 5-minute walk from the chalet. Go down the path towards the lake, and you will find a large grassy area with free access to the Camping Tchitogama dock. The fishing is excellent there. The lake teems with fish of different species, including pike, walleye and several other species.
Back at the chalet, make the most of the outdoors; enjoy your meals outside on the terrace to enjoy the panoramic view, then build a fire at the end of the day to keep warm!
This chalet is close to ATV and snowmobile trails. With its 130 km navigable, come and discover Lake Tchitogama and the Péribonka River. Nature lovers will enjoy hiking the Lake Tchitogama Trail, the Chutes Blanches and the Montagne de la Tour trails, accessible by waterway. A multitude of activities are available to you in the region, just a few minutes from the chalet:
-Otis Nature: Pike and walleye fishing, launching, watercraft rental ($), sandy beaches and swimming, mountain biking and hiking trails
-Scullion Garden: One of the largest conifer gardens in the world, they offer guided tours.
-Évasion Péribonka: Take advantage of the launching descent with a dock. Bring your rowboat or any other boat to navigate the river, fish and even go to the Péribonka dam. Rental of nautical equipment ($), gastronomy, mountain biking, hiking, etc.
-The farm at midnight: Guided dog sledding tours
-Véloroute des Bleuets: 256 KM cycle path surrounding Lac St -Jean
If you have the chance to stop at the Fjord-du-Saguenay National Park, admiring its splendid banks and dizzying cliffs is a must in the region!
