St-Urbain is nestled in a valley encircled by the high peaks of the Laurentian mountain range, in the beautiful Charlevoix region. Located 110 km from Quebec City, this rural town is crossed by the beautiful salmon river, the "rivière du Gouffre".
The river will also fill the kayakers whether with the family or for the most sporting ones. Also take the footbridge during your hiking. Several trails will make you discover the beautiful landscapes: Les Florent, la Rémy and Les Pointes. For hikers, the crossing of Charlevoix, is 100 km crossing the backcountry taking wild hiking trails, among the most beautiful in Quebec. Guests can also enjoy mountain biking and Nordic skiing. Enjoy the winter for beautiful snowmobile rides on several trails. St-Urbain is also the gateway to the Grands-Jardins National Park.
Otherwise, this region is endowed with fertile land and it is reflected in several agricultural productions such as organic meats, emu, duck and beef to name a few. It's up to you to stock up before leaving the cottage!
