The Richibucto Marina is subject to a mandatory stop by many visitors. Located in the city centre, people are fascinated by the geographical peculiarity of the wharf. You could see whales, seals and a variety of riparian birds. During the lobster season, do not hesitate to go see the fishermen at work. Nice discussions will begin. Note that scallop festival activities are held primarily at the marina. From the marina, you can reach the dunes along the Northumberland Strait. You will be dazzled by the beaches as far as the eye can see.
Jardine Municipal Park is a beautiful place surrounded by trees for swimming in the warmest waters north of Virginia. Enjoy its beautiful nature to walk in the trails of the park or all along the beach.

Richibucto is 15 minutes from Kouchibouguac National Park. This park protects a set of barrier islands, dunes, forests, barachois and salt marshes. With an area of 239 square kilometres, enjoy this beautiful natural area for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or walking. In summer, the beaches are stormed for a nice swim in hot and salty water. At Kellys Beach, a one-kilometre wooden walkway will take you to a patrolled beach. As for Callenders Beach, swimming can be done in salt water or fresh water in a shallow lagoon ideal for young children. It is also a perfect place for canoeing or kayaking. Open all year, the Park offers a very varied program of activities of all kinds: guided hikes, sporting challenges, youth and geocache activities, astronomy evenings, sand sculpture workshops, concerts, Acadian and Aboriginal celebrations and even more !
