Located directly on the edge of Grand Lac-Simon, in Chénéville, in Outaouais, this chalet will be greatly appreciated for stays with family or friends. You will be able to fully enjoy the pleasures of summer during your stay. Swimming there is very pleasant, with its waterfront beach and its gentle slope. To go down to the water's edge, note that you have to go down stairs, which are not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Take advantage of your stay to bring your fishing rod! The fishing is good there; the most common catches are smallmouth bass, gray trout and pike. If you have a boat, a paid boat launch is available at the marina. There you can find out about the costs of launching and stickers for sailing on the lake. You can use the chalet's dock to moor your boat. The water level of the lake is controlled by dams. It is possible that in spring, the sandy beach is sometimes still underwater.
In all seasons, there are many tourist activities to do in the region! In summer, visit the golf courses, Parc Oméga, the numerous hiking or mountain biking trails, the beaches and the terraces of local restaurants. In winter, skating in the forest, snowmobile trails, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are the activities to discover.
You can end the day with a good meal on the BBQ or by relaxing around a campfire on the water's edge.
Please note that the supply of Water comes from the lake, and is therefore not considered drinkable. You will find a water machine on site as well as bottled water provided for the stay.
