Lake Grenier Cottages: Rules and Regulations:
A non-refundable credit card deposit is required to reserve a cottage.
The deposit corresponds to 40% of the total bill.
The balance of the bill is due upon arrival. If the client does not show up on arrival day, the entire balance of the bill will be taken on the credit card.
Before taking possession of the cottage, a $500.00 security deposit is required. After inspection of the cottage, we reserve the right to retain part or all of the deposit to cover damages to the property.
Arrival time: 4:00 pm. Upon request, the arrival time may be moved to an earlier time.
Departure time: 12:00 pm. Upon request, the departure time may be moved to a later time.
It is forbidden to surpass the maximum allowed capacity of the cottage (to know the capacity of each cottage, refer to the pictogram underneath each cottage on following page: cottages).
It is forbidden to smoke in the cottage. If traces of cigarettes or smoke are found in the cottage, an amount will be retained from the security deposit.
Except in designated areas, campfires are forbidden.
For safety reasons, it is not permitted to burn candles in the cottage.
In order to maintain the peacefulness of the resort, noise must be kept to a minimum before 9:00 am and after 10:00 pm. For this same reason, fireworks are forbidden.
Upon departure, please do not leave anything in the cottage, including garbage, food, or empty bottles.
All garbage must be put in plastic bags and placed in the green bin outside the cottage.
Recyclable products (plastic, glass and paper) must be placed in the blue bin outside the cottage.
The white towels and blankets must not be taken outside the cottage. Blue towels are provided for swimming or to go the spa.
The playset is intended for children between 3 and 11 years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Rules concerning pets
All pets must be declared at the time of booking.
There is a $15.00 per day per animal fee for all pets.
There is maximum of two dogs per cottage.
Pets must weigh less than 10 kg (22 lbs). Heavier pets may be permited with special permission from the owners.
Dogs must be held on a leash at all times when on the resort.
Pet droppings must be picked up immediately.
Dogs who bark or howl are not welcomed.
Pets are not allowed on the furniture (beds, sofas, etc).
If pet odors persist after the stay, a cleaning charge will be retained from the security deposit.
Failure to obey these rules will result in immediate annulment of the rental contract.
Rules concerning the Spa
The Spa is opened from 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
It is forbiden to smoke, drink or eat in the Spa.
The cover must be closed properly after use.
Do not use the arrow buttons to change the temperature (100 degrees) of the Spa;
doing so may dammage the Spa.
Please rince yourself before entering the Spa.
People with long hair must attach their hair or wear a bonnet.
Please leave the blue float (clorene dispenser) in the Spa.
Please let us know if the water level is low.
Children less than 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Supplemental Information
As a courtesy, we provide, in small quantities, certains items. When these reserves are used up, you do not have to replace them other than for your own consumption. Here is the list of these items:
Salt, pepper and sugar;
Coffee filters;
Dish soap;
Toilet paper, paper towels, and tissue paper;
Small white garbage bags.
Included with the cottage is about 1/5th of a cord of firewood and kindling wood in a big brown bin just outside the cottage. There are 35$ fees for each additional supply of firewood and 5$ fees for kindling wood.
On the day of your arrival, please respect the 4pm arrival time. You may go directly to the cottage that you rented and settle in. Once on the resort, signs at each intersection indicate the location of each of the cottages.
At all times, if you have an urgent request and have difficulty reaching us, you may get assistance from our employees, Guylaine and Robert, who live at the entrance of the resort: 254 Grenier North.
