CHALET FOR RENT - THE PARADISE OF THE SECRET WATERFALL
Located in Danville, in the Eastern Townships, this unique place will charm you with its immersion in nature, also providing everything necessary for a successful stay, in complete peace of mind. It is a land of more than 20 acres that awaits you; largely wooded, bordered by the Nicolet River. The name of the chalet was not chosen at random, there is indeed a magnificent waterfall which embellishes this river.To get there, a 5-minute walk on a gravel path (practicable in strollers) brings you to a sheltered platform overlooking the river. You can admire the falls, seated comfortably in the shelter. We never tire! Soothing sounds will accompany you; a mixture of calm, streaming, birdsong, accompanied by the breeze of the fall. The places are simply enchanting; the forest with its tall trees perched on the cliffs offers landscapes that are rarely seen.
Swimming is not possible at the level of the falls. The waters are rough and dangerous for anyone wishing to approach it. However, the river runs along the entire terrain and widens as it moves away from the falls. The waters are calmer, depending on the sector and the precipitation of the previous days. Swimming is possible in the area where the river is wider. For this sector, however, you have to walk about 10 minutes to get there, crossing the field, and the descent to the edge of the water is steep.
In all seasons, you will have access to an outdoor fireplace, with the wood provided.Whether as a couple, with family or friends, it is always pleasant to meet around a good fire, in the evening. Come and swing around the fire, in the beautiful big swings! The place is perfect for observing the starry sky. A private 4-season spa awaits you for an additional moment of relaxation. This one is covered, very practical in case of rainy weather!
