Surrounded by the many attractions and splendid landscapes of Charlevoix, La Belle Outremer is an ancestral home from 1880 located in the heart of the village of St-Irénée, one of the most beautiful villages in Quebec, and near its magnificent beach.

Erected overlooking the St. Lawrence River, you will enjoy its abundant natural light, its view and its spaces.

You will also be charmed by the harmony of its period cachet with today's comfort.

Special attention is paid to making each guest feel at home, offering them all the comfort and equipment they need for a pleasant stay.

It is the ideal place to relax and spend pleasant moments as a couple, with family or friends, or to work from home.

It is a spacious, bright and warm 2-storey house, which can comfortably accommodate 2 people as well as 10 people.

Each room is decorated with character, respecting the period of the house while offering today's comfort.

You will also discover several beautiful antiques and various items promoting artists, craftsmen and merchants in the region.

It is also conducive to teleworking, with its many spaces, its secretary table and fast wifi.

There are 5 bedrooms offering hotel quality comfort, each with its own character:

1 bedroom with king bed, river side

1 bedroom with queen bed, river side(09 )2 bedrooms with double bed, courtyard side

1 bedroom with 2 single beds, courtyard side

The kitchen is very well equipped and offers everything you need to cook delicious meals.

You will find there also a charming coffee station with a Nespresso coffee maker and a milk frother, as well as a nice breakfast area with a view of the courtyard and the mature trees, from where you can also hear the chirping of birds.

There are 2 complete bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a nice clawfoot bath, the other with a large Italian-style ceramic shower without a door.

On the second floor, a charming glass roof with a view of the river, from where you can admire the view, the sunrises and sunsets, comfortably installed on the recamier or the hammock chair.

(09 ) You can also enjoy its large lot, as well as its front gallery, view of the river, and its terrace on 2 levels. The exterior layout offers you various warm, friendly and unifying spaces: dining area, relaxation, bistro, conversation and games, BBQ.

You will no doubt also want to relax in the comfortable double hammock suspended between two mature trees , as well as the outdoor fire place.

The river road (route 362 between Baie-St-Paul and La Malbaie) offers a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape, the mountains and the sea!

For guests arriving from Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie, the Maritimes, it is possible, in season, to take the ferry at Rivière-du-Loup, to St-Siméon ; then route 138 and 362 to La Belle Outremer (40 minutes from the ferry at Saint-Siméon).

The property is also located close to the Charlevoix CYML airport.

On site, you benefit from a large free private parking space.

Rental Agreement

Liability:

Guest waives, releases and agrees to hold Owner harmless from any damage, injury or accident occurring during the stay, for him- even as well as for all the people who accompany him during the stay.

Lost object:

The guest renounces, releases and agrees to release the owner from any breakage, loss, disappearance or theft of object of value or not, belonging to the guest or to any person who accompanies him during the stay.

If we find certain forgotten objects belonging to you during the cleaning of the property, we will make an agreement with you to return them to you reach, to the extent possible.

Access to the property:

If necessary, and with reasonable notice, the guest authorizes the owner or any person authorized by the latter, to access the property during the stay.

Please notify us without delay of any problem or breakage in the property or on its land.

House Rules

Guest must be contactable and available to communicate with Owner during normal business hours prior to stay, as well as during and after stay, as needed.

The number of people must in no case exceed the accommodation limit of the house (10) unless a written agreement has been previously agreed with the owner.

The reservation (total number of nights) must be made including the total number of people who will accompany you (including the person(s) who will accompany you only for part of the stay).

The guest and his companions must behave in a respectful manner and show good neighborliness while respecting the rights and peace of mind of surrounding owners.

Fireworks are prohibited.

Candles are prohibited.

The house is non-smoking, which includes: cigarette, cigar, cannabis, cigarillo, vape, shisha, etc.

Pets are not allowed, unless a prior written agreement agreed with the owner.

The guest agrees not to use the property for commercial purposes, sublet nor sell the property.

The booking guest must inform his or her companions of the rules of the house.

Parking is limited to designated parking areas.

Guest must not hold events (such as celebrations or meetings) at the property without the prior written consent of the owner.

In other words, "parties" are prohibited.

The guest shall not make any changes to the property without the prior written consent of the owner.( 09)

The guest must ensure that the departure instructions are respected.

When you leave, could you please ensure that:

- the fireplace is switched off;

- all the windows are closed;

- the used linens and towels are placed in the rattan baskets in the bathroom on the ground floor (do not remove the beds, please, the pillow protectors or the protectors) mattress);

- the heat pump is set to "Auto" mode at about 18 degrees C;

- the fridge, the freezer and the pantry are emptied of your personal food;

- the dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher, and the cleaning cycle of the dishwasher is started;( 09)- your garbage bags (bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen) are placed in the garbage bin outside (green bin), your items for recycling in the recycling bin outside (blue bin) and the bag of compost tightly closed and tied in the compost bin (brown bin);

- the two entrance doors are locked; the front door can only be locked from the inside, the side door electronically.

A reminder of the departure instructions will be sent to you the day before your departure from La Belle Outremer.
