Cottage Description

Charming wooden chalet with cathedral ceiling and SPA located at DOMAINE SHERWOOD in the municipality of Shannon 30 minutes from Quebec City and 20 minutes from VILLAGE VACANCES VALCARTIER. This resort where you can practice, depending on the season, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sliding, swimming, etc. In addition, in winter, the snowmobile trails are directly accessible from the Estate.

In summer, you can cycle, walk, run in the great outdoors, while being very close to the city and its attractions.

In general, a minimum stay of 2 nights is required to stay in a chalet or villa by Chalets Confort. The prices displayed on this site are for informational purposes only. Financial information: A payment of an amount equivalent to 20% of the total stay will be taken from now. An amount equivalent to the remaining balance due will be debited 30 days before the expected date of arrival. On the day of your arrival, a security deposit will be held on your credit card. This will be canceled automatically 7 days after your departure following the inspection of the premises.

Cancellation policy: In the case of a cancellation received more than 30 days before your arrival, the penalty is equal to an amount equivalent to 20% of the total of your stay. In the case of a cancellation received between 0 and 29 days before your arrival, the penalty is equal to an amount equivalent to 100% of the total of your stay.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The tenant must notify the owner of any BREAK OR DAMAGE caused during his stay.

The lessee is liable for property damage and bodily injury occurring in or on the leased building during the rental period, for any reason whatsoever, except for damage not caused by the leased building or its occupants and resulting from defects in construction, lack of maintenance, natural and technological disasters, and any damage normally covered by the owner's home insurance policy. The tenant and any other person on the rented premises undertake to hold the owner harmless from any claim made by anyone resulting from the damage for which they are responsible.

The tenant undertakes to return the rented building at the end of its rental period in the same condition as on arrival. The tenant is responsible for any damage caused by his personal acts and those of the persons accompanying him and he will be invoiced for any damage caused to the property (except normal wear and tear of the premises).

The tenant undertakes to respect reasonable rules of conduct and not to disturb neighbours and residents in the area. It must be kept to a reasonable noise level, both inside and outside. After 11 am, noise must be reduced to a minimum, especially outside.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The owner ensures that the leased establishment holds a classification certificate issued by the Corporation de l'industrie touristique du Québec in accordance with the Act respecting tourist accommodation establishments and still in force.

The owner will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or illness resulting from the fault of the tenant, which may occur to the tenant or his guests during the stay. By accepting this reservation, the tenant and his/her guests accept the risks associated with their stay at the establishment.

The owner cannot be held responsible for the theft or loss of the property of the tenant or his guests during the stay.

CONDITIONS

It is forbidden to SMOKE in the building. Please use appropriate outdoor spaces and discard cigarette butts in the designated area.

ANIMALS are not allowed

Put into practice all instructions related to the use of the building that are sent to you by email, and those on site in the blue binder.

If any of these conditions are NOT OBSERVED during your stay, the owners reserve the right to expel you without refund.

the building can only be used for vacation purposes.

The lessee may not assign his rights under the lease or sublease the building.

If the day of departure, the tenant does not leave at the time mentioned in the contract, additional charges may apply.

Sanitary paper provided for the beginning of the stay, cleaning products provided for the duration of the stay and personal hygiene products not provided.

Bed linen provided (pillows, sheets,) and towels provided. Electric heating provided.

Free Wi-Fi.

Snow removal from the parking lot included.

some recommendations... when you leave

put the building back in the same condition as on arrival (except household).

Make sure all windows and doors are closed. We ask you that:

The dishes are washed.

The waste is deposited in the green bin and the recycling in the blue bin or as indicated in your rental contract.

The fireplace or wood stove is turned off, if applicable.

If you have used the outdoor bbq, please clean it, close the propane tank tightly, if necessary, and make sure the protective cover is in place.

The bedding used must be placed in the bathroom on the ground floor.
