Grandes-Piles, this small municipality in the RCM of Mékinac, is without a doubt one of the prettiest villages in the Mauricie region. Its magnificent view of the Saint-Maurice River is sure to seduce you!

Located about 175 km from Montreal and 145 km from Quebec City, Grandes-Piles is the kingdom of boating for the great pleasure of boaters. A place of predilection for water sports and a small paradise for sailing!

This magnificent wooden cottage is located 1h30 from Quebec City and Montreal. A true corner of paradise lulled by the Saint-Maurice River. The perfect place to admire sunsets, starry skies and a scenery to thrill. Having direct access to the river with its private wharf and boat ramp nearby, you will be able to practice all kinds of water sports. Hiking, ATV, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, everything will be there.

This cottage, fully equipped and in a very popular area, will satisfy all your senses.

With its 4 bedrooms, which can comfortably accommodate 10 people, it will fill your stay.

Exterior and equipment offered;

An outdoor and indoor fireplace will warm up your relaxing moments with your family.

Several boats are available during the summer to enjoy the nautical pleasures. For fishing enthusiasts, the lake abounds in various species.

In winter, you will have the feeling of being at one with nature by snowshoeing, skiing, snowmobiling and ATVing with its nearby trails.

Note: ATV trails are between 1.5 km and 8 km.

Terms and Conditions of the Cottage

During the night, the house cannot be occupied by more people than the number entered in the contract and / or the maximum number that covers the costs of your stay. Notify the owner of any change to this effect. This number must be respected. The safety, comfort and well-being of the occupants are at stake. Any deviation will be reported to the owner, and an amount of $ 200 per person may be retained from the security deposit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The tenant must notify the owner of any BREAKAGE OR DAMAGE caused during his stay.

The tenant is responsible for material and bodily damage occurring in or on the building rented during the rental period, for any reason whatsoever, except for damage not caused by it or its occupants and those resulting from construction defects, lack of maintenance, natural and technological disasters, and any damage normally covered by the owner's home insurance policy.The tenant and any other person on the leased premises agree to keep the owner free and unharmed from any claim presented by anyone resulting from the damage for which they are responsible.

The tenant agrees to hand over the building rented at the end of its rental period in the same condition as when it arrived. The tenant is responsible for breakages caused by his personal facts and those of the people who accompany him and he will be given an invoice for any damage caused to the property (except normal wear and tear of the premises).

The tenant s undertakes to respect reasonable rules of conduct and not to disturb neighbors and residents of the area. It should stick to a reasonable noise level, both indoors and outdoors. After 11 a.m., noise should be kept to a minimum, especially outside.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The owner ensures that the leased establishment holds a classification certificate issued by the Corporation de l'Industrie Tourisme du Québec in accordance with the Act respecting tourist accommodation establishments and still in force.

The owner cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury or illness resulting from the tenant's fault, which may occur to the tenant or his guests during the stay. By accepting this reservation, the tenant and his guests accept the risks associated with their stay at the establishment.

The owner cannot be held responsible for the theft or loss of property of the tenant or his guests during the stay.

SPECIAL CLAUSE (S)

- Put into practice the instructions related to the use of the SPA so that when you leave the water is suitable for swimming as for your arrival. Additional fees may be required if this is not the case.

-In addition, fees could be added if the condition of the building (cleaning extra) required excessive time to restore.

UNLOCKING the chalet On your arrival

-you will find the key to this building in a small box located near the front door.

The owner will contact you, a few days before your stay, for you give the code and some usage instructions. If you have not received your code, you can contact him directly by contacting him (see his contact details on page 1).

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Open the small black panel covering the keyboard.

2. Enter the digital code, provided by email or telephone by the owner or his representative.

3. Lower the small black latch, located on the left.

4. The small box will open (or you can open it by pulling towards you) and the key will be inside.

5. When you leave, put the key in the small box and change the numbers to camouflage the code.

Recommendations on departure

Put the building in the same condition as on arrival (except cleaning).

Make sure that all windows and doors are closed and crossed out. We ask that:

The dishes are washed.

The waste is deposited in the green bin and recycling in the blue bin or as indicated in your rental contract.

The fireplace or wood stove be extinguished, if applicable.

Make sure the spa cover is properly replaced, as is the strap.

If you have used the outdoor barbecue, please clean it, close the propane tank and make sure that the protective cover is in place.

A check will be made after the tenants have left, by the maintenance team, for breakages, lack of equipment or unusual cleaning to be done.

We want to give customers what they have come to expect, like when you arrive for your stay.
