Ste-Beatrix, municipality of Lanaudiere crossed by the river Assomption, is the place of choice where to rent a cottage to take refuge in nature. The Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles Falls Regional Park with its 17 km of hiking trails and its nature interpretation trail is prized for its calm and relaxing atmosphere. Ornithologists will also be delighted by the 90 bird species present. Several other activities are available in this park: fishing, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, cross-country skiing, tubing and snowshoeing.
In winter, the famous Lac Cloutier is transformed into a huge ice rink of 8 km to the delight of hockey players and skaters. The riding school of Jolimont is also open all year long, to live unforgettable moments in the company of horses in a pristine white landscape.
