COTTAGE RULES
Cabin rules apply to all members of your party. The tenant(s) is held responsible for the actions of all other people on the rented premises.
As you will appreciate the cleanliness of the premises upon your arrival, please be respectful of the work of the cleaning lady. Thank you for picking you up so as not to make his work more difficult.
The tenant must notify us immediately of any breakage or damage caused during his stay and is responsible for material damage occurring in or on the rented building during the period. rental, and this for any reason whatsoever, except for damage resulting from a construction defect, lack of maintenance or natural disasters.
The furniture and objects at the disposal of the tenant must be treated with care and used only for the use for which they are intended. The tenant is responsible for any damaged furniture or object, for any damage caused to the rented premises, including the land and the exterior equipment.
The tenant cannot assign his rental rights or sublet the building.
It is forbidden to install or stay in an accessory building (tent, trailer, RV, etc.).
Breaking one of these rules will lead to the immediate cancellation of the rental contract.

Capacity and guests
The chalet can only be rented for vacation purposes.
It is forbidden to exceed the maximum capacity of people who can sleep in the chalet (6 adults) without the consent of the owners under penalty of eviction, without reimbursement, if non-compliance.
Please notify us when planning visitors and guests, otherwise a fee of $100 per night, per additional person to the declared number will be deducted from your security deposit.
Party, music and noise pollution

You are responsible for the fine which is given to you as well as for that returned to the owner in the event of non-compliance and the amount will be deducted from your security deposit.
Access to the lake and boats
Be extremely vigilant near the water, be careful and responsible, a accident happened so quickly.
Do not leave young children unattended at the water's edge. Some life jackets are available on site.
We provide you with 3 kayaks, please treat them with care and secure them to the dock when you are finished.
No personal watercraft is allowed on the lake.
Dog and cat
No animals allowed
An amount of $200 will be deducted from the security deposit for any undeclared animal.
Barbecue
A bbq propane is available.
Please do not burn wood or other in the bbq, clean the grill according to use (no food or other major damage) and close the tank after each use to avoid leaks.
The amount filling of the cylinder will be deducted from your security deposit if it is empty through negligence.
Outdoor fireplaces and fires
Outdoor wood fires are permitted only in the designated area (unless prohibited by the city in case of high fire risk).
Avoid making too big a fire and be sure to extinguish it completely when you are finished admiring it. You must bring your wood to make a fire outside.
No fireworks are allowed (municipal by-law). You are responsible for your fine as well as that of the owner in the event of non-compliance and the amount will be deducted from your security deposit.
Electricity, internet, aqueduct, toilet and septic tank(09 ) a power outage can happen during a storm or other and it sometimes takes longer to repair in the countryside.
We cannot be held responsible for damages or interruption of the service, we regret the inconvenience, but there will be no compensation in connection with this service.
The internet connection is provided with the rental of the chalet. The quality and the speed of this one are variable according to various factors (number of users, type of use, etc) and for this reason,
we do not assume any compensation in connection with this service.
The chalet is supplied with water from a surface well. The water is potable and safe to drink.
To preserve our quantity of water, it is forbidden to wash your vehicles or to install a water feature. a lack of water can happen but very unlikely, we are not responsible for it. We regret the inconvenience on this subject, but there will be no compensation in connection with this service.
The chalet operates with a false septic tank.
Please put only natural waste and Toilet paper. Put any other items in the trash. Better to avoid a situation that results in a clogged toilet.
Cleanliness, Recycling and Waste
Washer and dryer are available in the chalet.
You must bring your own detergent and fabric softener.
Recycling goes on Thursday and garbage on Wednesday.
Please put the bins at the roadside during or at the end of your stay.
We recycle what is possible,
only the paper can be burned in the fire pit. Cans, glass, cardboard, plastic and aluminum must be recycled in the blue bin outside.
never burn garbage or leave it outside the chalet. Small animals love waste. Put garbage in a closed bag and dispose of it in the black bin near the parking lot.
For security reasons,
it is absolutely forbidden to smoke inside the chalet. We have the right to ask you to leave the premises, without reimbursement, if we become aware that someone has smoked inside. You can smoke outside the chalet. However, if cigarette waste is found on the property and cleaning is required, the additional cleaning costs will be deducted from your deposit.
If excessive cleaning is necessary following your departure, the additional cleaning costs which will be invoiced to us will be deducted from your deposit.
Additional notes for the Chalet
Insects and wildlife are away from the pleasures of the countryside. We control them as best we can. Please do not encourage them by keeping the doors closed and putting food in containers or in the refrigerator.
Please do not take white towels, sheets, and blankets out of the chalet.
Avoid to bring glass outside; it's good to walk barefoot.
Before departure:
Bring all your personal belongings;
No food in the fridge or cupboards;
The inside of the fridge, freezer, microwave, stove and bbq must be free of damage;
Undo the sheets and pillowcases then leave them at the foot of the respective bed. Do not undo pillow protectors and mattress protectors unless they have to be washed following an incident;
Wash and dry all towels, washcloths, dishcloths and dish towels used;(White only, colored towels put them in the bath)
Replace the furniture,
Wash the dishes and empty the dishwasher
The exterior must be clean and tidy (no cigarette butts, empty bottle or can);
Place your waste in bags in the blue bin near the parking lot.
A fee of $50 per item not respected will be deducted from your deposit.
