Au Canard Branchu du Lac Brome is a charming Swiss chalet, offering private access to Lac Brome. Access to the lake is on the other side of the road, opposite the chalet. Just take the stairs down to the lake and you'll find yourself with both feet in the water in no time. A relaxation area has been set up directly on the edge of the water, allowing you to fully enjoy the pleasures of summer. No matter the season, you will be simply mesmerized every morning and every evening as the sun rises and sets over the lake.For your comfort and to ensure optimal relaxation, a private 4-season spa is available at the back of the chalet. With no neighbors behind the chalet, you can enjoy a good spa with a view of the woods, moreover, it being covered, you will be sheltered in case the temperature is less clement.
(09 )We provide you with 2 simple kayaks, 1 double kayak, 2 paddles board as well 1 cyclopal (pedalboat) to allow you to discover the lake, and perhaps, you will come across the famous Duck Branchu. Quilliams Nature Reserve (a hidden paradise) awaits. On the lake, fishing is possible in summer as well as in winter when the ice allows it. You will find walleye, pike, bass and yellow perch in particular. It is not possible to moor a motor boat at the quay of the chalet.

Whether for outdoor activities or cultural activities, the choice is endless:the Wine Route, the Tour des arts, the Têtes Fromagères circuit, Brewers des Cantons, beaches, water slides, mountain biking, golf courses, museums and more. During your stay, remember to visit the villages of Dunham, Frelighsburg and Knowlton, the latter is a picturesque village that has kept its English charm. Located just 5 minutes from the chalet, you will find several shops, restaurants and antique dealers. The region is a huge playground for road and gravel bike lovers and abounds in breathtaking landscapes.
In winter, the property is perfect for a weekend of skiing; the chalet is located 15 minutes from the ski slopes of Bromont. Mounts Orford and Sutton are also less than 30 minutes from the chalet. Owl's head is 40 minutes away. You will also find several kilometers of trails, directly accessible at the back of the property, for walking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. It is possible to rent ice fishing equipment nearby.It is not uncommon to see deer and wild turkeys at the back of the chalet for rent. The Douglass municipal beach (3 minutes from the chalet) offers in winter, campfire, skating on the lake, rental of snowshoes, snow scooters and cross-country skis.

Inside you will find everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You will greatly appreciate the central air conditioning during the hot summer days. The living room, open concept with the kitchen and the dining room, will welcome you, among other things, with a large wood fireplace. Winter stays will be very cozy here. The kitchen is fully equipped; all you have to do is bring your food.Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms. A bathroom and a shower room complete the house. In winter, you can bring your ski or snowshoe equipment and store it in the basement during your stay.
