The Shack du Lac Aylmer is a new construction in the city of Beaulac-Garthby ideal for your stay with family or friends with access to water. You need to relax, take your mind off things, or just have fun. There is a large choice of activities at the Shack!

In summer you can enjoy a safe and pleasant swim; shallow and gradual entry into the water. Access to the beautiful Lake Aylmer is in front of the chalet. It is possible to use the boat descent which is at the marina in order to be able to sail on the lake during your stay. Two kayaks are at your disposal. In addition, at the back of the cottage there is a spa, swimming pool and trampoline to amuse young and old alike.

You are a fishing enthusiast, Lake Aylmer is the perfect place both in winter and in the summer to fish for walleye, bass and pike. It has an area of 31 square km navigable, in addition to numerous water sports, hiking in the forest or in the mountains (30 min from Mount Ham).In addition, we find the bike-rail and the bike path around the lake. Don't forget the ATV and snowmobile trails that pass nearby.

Inside, you will find a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and appliances that offers space necessary in order to cook comfortably. In addition, you will find BBQ and patio so you can enjoy meals outside. In order to get away from city life and give you quality time with your loved ones, wifi and television are not offered at the Shack. On the ground floor, we have a queen sofa bed in the living room and a bedroom with a queen bed. Upstairs, we find a large mezzanine equipped with two double beds. The bathroom has a ceramic shower and a separate bath that complete the Shack.

( 09) Upon arrival: a security deposit 1 of $500, for breakage and/or unsanitary conditions and/or delay and/or penalty, will be payable by INTERAC transfer or cash.

NOTE 1: The $500 security deposit will be refunded to the tenant within 2 to 10 days if no damage is found, the chalet is returned in the same condition as on arrival and no penalty has to be charged .

If applicable:In addition to the previous total amount, the tenant may be charged penalties in the event of a delay in releasing the premises. The penalty is established at the rental cost per night plus 50% for each night late.

If necessary this amount will either be deducted from the security deposit and / or will be invoiced additionally to the tenant who will have to pay this invoice upon receipt.

3.3: Cancellation policy:

In the event of cancellation with less than thirty (30) days notice, the rental cost is fully applicable. If cancellation occurs with more than thirty (30) days notice, the 50% deposit required when booking is not refunded.

In case of cancellation due to COVID no rental postponement reimbursement only.

Terms and Conditions of the Cottage

Assignment - Subletting:

The Tenant may not assign or sublet his contract.

Article 5. Use, maintenance, damage and theft:

5.1. The Tenant undertakes to use the chalet for legal purposes and in accordance with the normal uses of the latter as well as good morals.

5.2. The tenant undertakes to take care of and protect the integrity of the chalet as well as the furniture and accessories included.

5.3. In the event that the tenant returns the chalet or one of its furniture or accessories included in the rental in poor condition, poorly maintained, or in a state of technical operation or cleanliness that does not correspond to use or rental wear and tear normal, the tenant agrees to pay the costs of restoration, repair, cleaning or replacement on presentation of the corresponding invoice. The amount will be partially or totally deducted from the deposit, depending on the amount of damage. In the event that the deposit is not sufficient to cover the costs, the tenant agrees to pay the difference upon receipt of the invoice.

5.4.In the event that one of the pieces of furniture or one of the accessories included in the rental is missing, the tenant agrees to pay the replacement costs on presentation of the invoice. The amount will be partially or totally deducted from the deposit, depending on the amount of the loss. In the event that the deposit is not sufficient to cover the replacement costs, the tenant agrees to pay the difference upon receipt of the invoice.

Article 6. Responsibilities:

6.1 . The tenant certifies that he is fit and has the legitimacy (home liability insurance, legal and legal capacity) to use the rented chalet.

6.2. The tenant claims to have read the conditions of use mentioned in this contract and necessary for the proper use of the chalet.

6.3. The tenant acknowledges and attests to being the sole responsible and guardian of the chalet under his control, of its use and of its integrity, throughout the rental period.

The tenant is thus solely responsible for any damage that the chalet or any of the furniture or accessories included in the rental may suffer, caused by the tenant or a third party, during the rental period.

The operator is therefore in no way responsible, for the chalet and the furniture and accessories included in the rental, for the consequences of its use, whatever it may be, during the term of the contract.( 09)

Article 7. Role and responsibilities of the operator:

• Maintain liability insurance and chalet insurance in force during the rental period.

• Deliver the chalet in good condition, ie clean and with equipment in good working order.

Article 8. Conditions of use of the spa:

8.1. Swimming or showering recommended before using the spa.

8.2. Spa: The spa cover must be replaced after each use for safety and energy saving reasons. (Penalty $10.00/hour)

8.3.In the event that the water is no longer adequate for the next rental that we must empty the contents and wash the spa, a penalty of $500.00 will apply.

Article 9. Conditions of use of the chalet :

Maximum capacity: 6 People allowed on site (including guests)

Pet allowed: Dog

Rental conditions:

) The tenant declares to have seen the chalet rented on the Internet and declares to be satisfied with it. The tenant is responsible for the rented chalet and its contents. No modification of the chalet is permitted.

In addition, he assumes full and entire responsibility for the people to whom he allows access. The occupants to whom the tenant allows access must behave in such a way as not to disturb the other residents of the neighborhood in the normal enjoyment of the premises. (Penalty of $500.00)

No exchange of tenant during the stay will be accepted (considered as subletting) The tenant declares to rent the chalet for pleasure or vacation purposes.

Under no circumstances shall the operator be held liable for any damage or loss suffered by the tenant, resulting from accidents, delays, costs incurred, injuries, death or events resulting from cases fortuitous or force majeure and beyond the control of the operator; and the operator shall not be subject to any claim or action in court relating to such damage or loss.

The operator shall not be liable for any interruption beyond its control of the services of electricity and running water.

The operator assumes no responsibility for damage, loss, or theft to the personal effects of the renter and his guests.

The tenant agrees:

On departure, to leave the premises, chalet, land, furniture and accessories in the same condition as on arrival and in their original location. A supplement will be added to the tenant's costs if the landlord notices that the state of cleanliness of the chalet is deemed unsatisfactory.

Not to hold, outside or inside the chalet, any big evening or “party”. No outside music allowed. (Penalty $300.00)

A penalty of $150.00 per day, per person exceeding the maximum capacity, will be deducted by the lessor from the security deposit, in the event of non- respect of the maximum capacity.

To comply with this rental agreement. Failure to comply with the contract may result in costs which will be assessed at the sole discretion of the lessor. Failure to comply with the contract gives the landlord the right to evict the tenant and his guests on the spot by terminating this rental contract. In this event, the lessor will retain any amount paid to him and will retain all recourse against the lessee if damage has been caused to the rented premises.

To use the furniture and objects furnishing the rented building for the use for which they are intended and in the places where they are located. It is strictly forbidden to transport them outside the chalet.

Not to smoke in the chalet (Penalty of $250.00)

To notify the operator as soon as the tenant becomes aware of a defect and/or a breakage of equipment or of furniture in the building. Any misuse or use not attributable to normal use of the building or the property furnishing it causing stains, breakage or defects will be repaired or replaced entirely at the expense of the tenant.

Do not throw anything in the sinks, toilets and showers likely to obstruct the pipes, failing which, the costs incurred, for the restoration of service, will be entirely invoiced to the tenant.

To allow access to the premises at all times to the operator or its employee to inspect the premises and to carry out urgent work necessary to maintain the leased premises and its equipment in good condition.

Do not let, pet allowed, climb on the couch or on the beds (Penalty of $100.00)

Do not let pet allowed to walk on neighbors' property ($500 penalty)

To pick up animal excrement allowed.

To make outdoor fires only at the place designated by the operator at the time of rental, with the approval of the fire department:

Application for a permit MANDATORY TO THE Ville De Beaulac Garthby : 418 458-2375 (Free Permit)

Please put out the fire with a bucket of water and not the extinguisher inside the chalet.

Firewood is not included for outdoor fires, please provide the wood needed for your stay. Should you wish to have wood, bundles will be on site at five dollars ($5.00) each which we will deduct from your security deposit.

To respect the regulation on small vessels governed by Transport Canada on boat use.

This regulation obliges you to bring on board during your kayak or canoe excursion a life jacket / person as well as a nautical / boat first aid kit including a 15-meter heaving line with float , a whistle, a bailer and a waterproof flashlight.

Not to install a tent, tent-trailer or camper on the premises without the authorization of the operator.

L he water is drinkable for consumption but a smell of sulfur is present on occasion, please provide bottles of water for your stay if the smell bothers you.

Access to the lake: Please respect the law of passage as well as access to the lake, do not use the neighboring docks in the event of non-compliance, a penalty of $500.00 will apply.

When you leave, please return the chalet to the state you found it, undo the beds and leave with an armful of sheets or towels.
