Whether it's for a weekend or for a summer vacation. Summer or winter away from the city, our chalet Aux Douces Folies has been renovated and has all the ingredients to make your stay a pleasant one. This cottage for rent, located second from the Trois-Lacs in St-Rémi-de-Tingwick, will allow you to get away from everyday life and meet up with family or friends.
From the terrace, you will see the lake, located across the street, where you can practice many activities throughout the year.Opposite the chalet is a descent to public water, where you can go swimming and fishing. You can also bring the canoe that we put at your disposal. On board it, browse the waters of the lake and the river, take out your fishing rod and put the line in the water. Walleye, pike and yellow perch are the most common species of fish in this lake.
The multiple boats available will delight you! Whether aboard the canoe or the inflatable boat (Zodiac style), you can fully enjoy nautical pleasures. To enhance your experience, a dock has been newly installed! For those who want to try the experience, two paddle boards are also available (for a fee – check with the owners).
In winter, mountain bike and snowmobile trails are near the chalet . Ice fishing is also very popular in our small village. Snowshoe and cross-country ski trails are available a few minutes drive from the chalet, at the Asbestos golf club.As soon as the lake is frozen, take the opportunity to get out your skates, or go to the village ice rink. You can ask the owner during your stay about the possibility of renting snowshoes.
Back at the chalet, let yourself be tempted by the private spa, which is open year-round. Cooler days will suddenly seem much more pleasant, and summer evenings will be all the more magical. A BBQ is at your disposal on the covered terrace, as well as a small dining area, to enjoy your meals outside.
You will have the chance to end your evenings, gathered around the outdoor fire , the wood is even provided for free! In order to maximize your comfort around the fire, the owners provide you with cushions for the chairs, you will find these in the outside chest! A swing and a hammock are also available on site, so you can relax and enjoy the outdoors.
